Dollar Tree Clean Out

I have been eager to try a few projects that I came across in blog land. I finally made it to my local Dollar Tree yesterday to pick up the supplies. Someone beat me there and cleaned out the store of all the things I needed! I want to make a faux lamp and a starburt mirror.

Widsom be gone

I had my wisdom tooth extracted last night.... To compare it with something, it feels like a c-section, a lot of tugging and pulling.. After I left the dentist I went across the street to walmart to fill my prescription, they told me thirty minutes so I decided to wait even though I was in a lot of pain. Thirty minutes later I got in the longest line ever to pick my meds up and this OLD lady comes out of no where, jumps in front of the line and proceeds to not only pick up her meds but check out her entire cart full.. That got everyone in line pretty heated.. I didn't get home until almost 7:00 and I had left the dentist at 5:40.. The only way I was able to get to sleep was with an ice pack... This morning I felt okay but like I had been punched in the face.. This afternoon I feel like I ran a marathon, got punched in the face and have been up for days like a drug addict.. BLAH!! All I've had to eat today was chicken broth with saltine cracker so i'm pretty hungry and craving chilis, taco bell, pizza hut.. LOL.. I will end up only being able to eat mashed potatoes tonight which is fine with me.. I am terrified of getting a dry socket!

WOW!!

I am back after being away from a long time! I have been going to school to be a real estate broker and focusing all my time on that. I am almost done... YAY!! I have about a week left and then I will go take a four hour exam and hopefully get a job soon after... I have a lot of goals that I will be posting about soon, but for now I have to get back to the books

Carter Lake

Carter Lake is located in the foothills west of Loveland. It has 1,100 acres of water. Carter Lake is my least favorite lake to boat at so far in Colorado, mainly due to the lack of sandy beach areas. The only area we could find to beach the boat didn't have any sand, it was all rocks. The hiking trails were very nice.

Horsetooth Reservoir

Horsetooth Resevoir is beautiful! Located west of Fort Collins in the foothills. It has 1,900 acres of water and is 6.5 miles long. The only thing I don't like about Horsetooth Reservoir is it doesn't have any beach areas to park the boat to stretch your legs and let the kids play. If it had more beach area for boats then this would be my favorite place to boat; so far in Colorado.

Chatfield Reservoir

Chatfield Reservoir is about 40 minutes from our house, it is the lake we went to all last summer with our waverunner since it was so close to our old apartment. I like Chatfield quite a bit but Tony doesn't since the water can get pretty choppy. My favorite part about Chatfield is how almost the entire lake is lined with a sandy beach so there are plenty of places to park your boat and stretch your legs. Chatfield is nicely sized at 1550 water surface acres.
